It is believed to be a cross between the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, Naga Morich, and Ghost pepper, with some speculation that the 7 Pot pepper may also have been involved in its creation.
The Purple Naga Viper maintains the intense lineage and characteristics of the original Naga Viper while adding a striking purple coloration during maturation. The peppers typically have a smooth texture and thin walls. Flavor-wise, the Purple Naga Viper offers a fruity, floral, and tangy taste profile characteristic of superhot peppers, followed by an intensely powerful heat that builds and finishes with an extreme burn.
