Grandpa's Home, also known as Red Hot Siberian, is a pepper that is said to have been discovered in Siberia. It has a medium heat level and a delicious fruity, slightly smoky flavor. The peppers look somewhat similar to the Cerezo pepper. The taste and heat level of the Grandpa's Home pepper is comparable to that of the Pequin pepper and Cherry Habanero, so it is believed to average about 40,000 to 60,000 Scoville Heat Units.
Grandpa's Home peppers are approximately 2 inches and grow upright on tidy plants. The medium hot peppers grow in high yiedling plants that are easy to grow and can survive indoors. Interestingly, Grandpa's Home peppers are one of the very few varieties that can bloom and set on fruit even under low-light conditions.
