A relative of the Ghost pepper and the Naga Morich, the Dorset Naga pepper is extremely spicy as it averages between 1,000,000 to 1,500,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). Many people say that the Naga Morich and Dorset Naga are the same pepper, but the Dorset Naga is more like an evolution of the Naga Morich. The Dorset Naga was created in Dorset, England by Joy and Michael Michaud through carefully selecting only the seeds from the best overall Naga Morich plants. The Dorset Naga was created using the best of the best of the Naga Morich crop.
The Dorset Naga, which is thin skinned and pointy, has a very fruity flavor that kicks in almost immediately after consumption. The extreme heat builds up for several minutes and eventually creates a powerful endorphin rush. One of the hottest peppers in the world, the Dorset Naga's heat level is similar to other superhot peppers such as the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T pepper, Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, and the Carolina Reaper.
The Dorset Naga pepper is related to the Naga Viper, Naga Morich, Chocolate Bhutlah, Ghost pepper, and Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion.
Plants are shipped in 3 inch reusable plastic pots and are approximately 4 to 6 inches tall.
