There are only a few peppers in the world that are hotter than the Chocolate 7 Pot. The Chocolate 7 Pot  pepper's name comes from the idea that one pepper pod can provide spice for 7 pots of stew. This is the brown variety, also referred to as Brown 7 Pot pepper, an extremely rare strain of the 7 Pot family. The Chocolate 7 Pot is similar in size to the Red 7 Pot, although it’s common for Chocolate 7 Pot pods to grow slightly larger. Like most brown peppers, its taste is a little more bitter compared to the Red 7 Pot pepper. It’s slightly hotter than the Red 7 Pot, making it one of the hottest peppers in the world, but not quite as hot as the Carolina Reaper or Trinidad Moruga Scorpion on the Scoville Scale. The Chocolate 7 Pot pepper averages about 923,889 to 1,853,986 Scoville Heat Units (SHU).

There are several different colored strains of 7 Pot peppers, including the Red 7 Pot,  Yellow 7 PotWhite 7 Pot7 Pot Brain Strain7 Pot Douglah, and 7 Pot Primo. The 7 Pot pepper is related to the Trinidad Scorpion pepper, one of the hottest peppers in the world.

I ordered these this year and coming back for a review because I was so happy with my grow season. My peppers looked so similar to the ones pictured and everything grew true to type. Awesome job Tyler farms.

Ordered on a Monday night, seeds arrived on Thursday. They took 13 days to sprout, but everything looks good so far. I will order again.
