The Yellow T-Rex pepper is a superhot pepper with a fruity flavor. The original T-Rex pepper, which is red, is a cross between the 7 Pot Douglah and Bhutlah. The Yellow T-Rex Yellow is very similar to the red variant of this pepper, but the yellow peppers have more of a citrusy flavor. Most peppers will get long, stinger-like tails, but pod shapes and sizes will vary. The Yellow T-Rex is extremely hot and is arguably as spicy as any other yellow pepper, including the Yellow Carolina Reaper and Yellow 7 Pot Primo. Yellow T-Rex peppers are estimated to exceed 1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU).
