A cross that was developed at the Innovation Acre, the Yellow 7 Pot Madballz pepper is a cross between the Yellow 7 Pot and the 7 Pot Madballz. Like its relatives, the Yellow 7 Pot Madballz pepper is considered a superhot as the peppers typically average over 1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). The Yellow 7 Pot Madballz doesn't quite have the heat of the original 7 Pot Madballz, but it has a fruitier flavor. It has a wrinkly skin similar to Ghost pepper varieties and starts off green and purple, eventually ripening to a deep yellow color. The leaves are mostly green but also occasionally have purple color markings. It was developed by Steve Bender, but the original 7 Pot Madballz was created by a pepper grower nicknamed Madhatter. The Yellow 7 Pot Madballz pepper grows to be about 3 inches long and the plant can get up to 4 feet tall.
The 7 Pot Madballz pepper is one of the many new varieties that have been developed at the Innovation Acre.
At Tyler Farms, we grow our plants the old fashioned way: no pesticides, no synthetic fertilizers, and we only use all natural fertilizers such as worm castings and fish emulsion.
Plants are shipped in 3 inch reusable plastic pots and are approximately 4 to 6 inches tall.
