The White Trinidad Scorpion is an exciting new member of the Trinidad Scorpion pepper family. The Trinidad Scorpion pepper's name comes from the pointed end of the pepper that is said to resemble a scorpion's stinger. Most of the pods of this particular variant have distinctive stinger-like tails. The peppers grow are about one to two inches in length with smooth, thin skin that starts off green and ripens to white. The White Trinidad Scorpion has a sweet fruity flavor and is not as hot as the original Trinidad Scorpion pepper. The White Trinidad Scorpion pepper averages about 700,000 to 850,000 Scoville Heat Units.
