Developed at Innovation Acre at Tyler Farms, the Sunset Peach Scotch Bonnet is the result of crossing the Yellow Scotch Bonnet and the Sunset Peach. The pods look somewhat similar to Sunset Peach peppers because of their color, but their shape looks more like a Yellow Scotch Bonnet. The Sunset Peach Scotch Bonnet has a fruity, slightly floral flavor, and a hot heat level. The pods start off green with purple blushing and eventually ripen to peach.
The Sunset Peach Scotch Bonnet has not yet been tested, but is believed to have a similar heat level to the Yellow Scotch Bonnet, which ranges from 100,000 to 350,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU).
At Tyler Farms, we grow our plants the old fashioned way: no pesticides, no synthetic fertilizers, and we only use all natural fertilizers like worm castings and fish emulsion.
Plants are shipped in 3 inch reusable plastic pots and are approximately 4 to 6 inches tall.
