Created by legendary pepper grower Chris Folwer, the Sugar Rush Cream is a round pepper that starts off light green and ripens to ivory white. The light-colored peppers are a variation of the Sugar Rush Peach pepper and were discovered in Fowler’s garden in Wales, Great Britain. Sugar Rush Cream peppers are named for their intense sweetness and have a low level of heat. The round peppers have a very similar flavor profile and heat level as the Peachadew as they are very closely related. A delicious pepper with a low to medium heat level, the Sugar Rush Cream is somewhat similar to the Malawi Piquante, but the Malawi Piquante ripens to red rather than white.

The delicious flavor and thick flesh make the Sugar Rush Cream pepper ideal for pickling and stuffing with cream cheese. The heat of the Sugar Rush Cream Pepper is typically in the range of 10,000 to 30,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), which is relatively mild compared to some other chili pepper varieties.

The Sugar Rush Cream Pepper is part of the Sugar Rush family of peppers, which includes other varieties like the Sugar Rush Peach, Sugar Rush Red, and Sugar Rush Stripey. These peppers are valued for their unique appearance and balanced flavor profile.
