The Rezha Macedonian pepper is a vibrant and flavorful variety renowned for its striking appearance and culinary versatility. The peppers are known as Vezena Piperka or “Embroidered Pepper” in Macedonia because of their distinctive, knitted thread-like appearance, known as “corking.”
The Rezha Macedonian pepper has a slightly elongated shape, tapering to a gentle point, similar in size to the Jimmy Nardello Sweet Italian pepper. Its flesh is thick and crisp, with a sweet, slightly tangy flavor profile that makes it an excellent choice for a wide range of dishes.
