Red Ripple Pepper Seeds

Scoville Heat Units:
250,000 - 500,000

The Red Ripple was created at Innovation Acre as a result of crossing the Orange Ripple and Red Jamaican Mushroom Scotch Bonnet.  The Orange Ripple pepper, which was developed by Jason Schwarz of Toadstool Gardens, is a cross between the Orange Habanero, Yellow Scotch Bonnet, and Carolina Reaper. Similar to the Orange Ripple, the heat level of the Red Ripple is typically about 250,000 to 500,000 Scoville Heat Units, but some of the peppers can exceed that range. It is a stunning pepper that has the Carolina Reaper tail but doesn't have the intense heat of the Carolina Reaper. It is slightly hotter than Scotch Bonnets and Habaneros and can be used in similar recipes, such as on nachos, hot sauces, and salsas because it has a very similar flavor profile.
