The Apocalypse Scorpion pepper is believed to be one of the hottest peppers in the world. It was developed by growers in Italy and took several generations to stabilize. The peppers have a fruity flavor and an incredibly spicy heat level like other superhot peppers. Although the official Scoville Heat Units for the Apocalypse Scorpion are still unknown, many who have tried the pepper believe it might be able to compete with the Carolina Reaper, which averages about 1,400,000 to 2,200,000 Scoville Heat Units.
The Apocalypse Scorpion pepper’s appearance is like a combination of Ghost Pepper, Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, and Carolina Reaper all wrapped into one pepper. The pepper plant grows to be about four feet tall and produces beautiful red pods, most of which will have the signature scorpion stinger.
At Tyler Farms, we grow our plants the old fashioned way: no pesticides, no synthetic fertilizers, and we only use all natural fertilizers such as worm castings and fish emulsion.
Plants are shipped in 3 inch reusable plastics pots and approximately 4 to 6 inches tall.
