The Purple Jellyfish Pepper takes its name from the striking pods that mimic the beauty of a jellyfish, with deep purple tones that ripen to shades of pink and peach. The peppers have an umbrella-like shape to them along with a stinger tail, a characteristic it inherits from the Apocalypse Scorpion.
The Purple Jellyfish Pepper inherits the robust profile of its parent peppers. The intense heat from the Apocalypse Scorpion is complemented by the sweet and fruity undertones of the Pink Tiger, resulting in a well-balanced superhot pepper with tropical fruitiness. Although it has not officially been tested, the Purple Jellyfish is believed to average about 1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units.
