The Peach Wasp is a rare hot pepper that has a fruity flavor and a very unique appearance as the thin, long peach colored pods grow with lots of prominent bends and wrinkles. It is on the higher end of the hot category, but it doesn't quite have the heat to put be part of the superhot category. Peach Wasp peppers have a strong citrus flavor and the plant itself is very high yielding. The peppers look very similar to the Peach Aribibi Gusano Caterpillar pepper, but the Peach Wasp is definitely spicier.
The Peach Wasp pepper averages about 300,00 to 450,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), which is similar to the Devil's Tongue and Fatalii peppers. Other popular peach colored hot peppers include the Sugar Rush Peach, Bahamian Goat, Peach Habanero, Peach 7 Pot, Peach Trinidad Scorpion, and California Reaper.
