California Scorpion pepper | Tyler Farms

One of our most anticipated crosses since the California Reaper, the California Scorpion was created by crossing the California Reaper and Yellow Trinidad Moruga Scorpion. Developed by Steve Bender at Innovation Acre, the California Scorpion is a superhot pepper with a very sweet, fruity flavor. It is slightly hotter than the California Reaper. The pods start off green and ripen to a yellowish peach color.

    after my first year of growing this pepper i would say it is now in my top 3 favrites. great combination of flavor and heat, and the peppers look really cool. thank you.

    the taste of these is really good. even though they are hot, i just used them sparingly so one pepper definitely goes a long way. the citrus/fruity/spicy combination is amazing.
